As I strolled through my Facebook timeline a few days ago I ran across this article that discussed the benefits of drinking 1 gallon of water a day for 30 days. It was an interesting article, plus it included pictures of a lady that documented her 30 day water challenge by snapping a picture of her face each week. Even at the beginning of the challenge her skin wasn’t horrible or anything, but by the end of the challenge her skin just looked healthier and more vibrant. I just knew I needed to attempt this challenge.

Lady from the article. Google the article if your would like to read about it.

I was going to share a link to the article that I found but I don’t think it is necessary. We all know that water is good for you, but some of the comments left under the article were so negative. Sometimes people are harsh for no reason and have to try to find something wrong with everything. Some believe the pictures were altered or fake…BLAH BLAH BLAH…Whatever! I don’t care… the point of this challenge is to COMPLETE IT and hopefully see some positive changes. Even if I don’t see anything physically change with my skin (I’m hoping my dark circle under my eyes STOP being so dark lol,)  I know my insides at least will be thanking me.

I am starting this 30 Day challenge today Monday January 19, 2015. I will complete it on Tuesday February 17, 2015. I will take pictures of my face every Monday morning using my Panasonic Lumix camera to document my 30 day journey! Below are pictures I snapped as soon as I woke up this morning 5:30 AM, so be kind! #Flawless 😉

Also, I will track my water intake with my FitBit and post a picture for each day showing the amount of ounces of water I consumed during the day.

Example of what it looks like as I track my water intake with FitBit.
