It’s officially September 1st, which means that we only have 21 more days of summer left! We don’t need to waste these last days of summer 2015, so I’ve come up with a quick list of five things you must do before the summer comes to an end.
1.) Catch the Sunrise
If you aren’t an early riser, then I can understand it being a drag to have to wake up early if you don’t neccessarily have to; but I promise it will be worth it to catch the sunrise over Baltimore. It’s truly amazing and a beautiful way to begin the day. So grab your coffee, head over to the harbor or even to your rooftop and just sit still. Watch the sky change colors before your eyes.
2.) Watch the Sunset
Anywhere along the harbor you are able to catch a beautiful sunset but I suggest picking an afternoon to head over to Tide Point (Yes, I still call it Tide Point, but really Under Armours Headquarter) and sit out on the deck. Tide Point is a pretty awesome place because there are chairs and benches to sit on where you have unobstructed spectacular views of the city and harbor. Make it fun by inviting a friend to come along, grab dinner and eat by the water.
3.) Host a Cookout
Doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just send a mass text message out to your family and friends inviting them over for a good ole barbecue! Each person can bring something to share. This will make things easier for you! This is a perfect way to get a group of your favorite people together to enjoy the last days of warm weather.
4.) Go to a Farmers Market
Since you are going to host a cookout you will need fresh produce, fruit, & flowers to brighten up your home, so this is the perfect opportunity to visit a farmers market! Check out @DiscoverCharmCity Instagram page for details on the many different markets that take place around the city.
5.) Just Go Outside
For the next few weeks, just do any and everything that involves beging outside! Outdoor concert, movie festival, free fitness classes, yoga classes, tan at the pool, or vendor events. On our Instagram page I will definitely post as many events as possible that involve being outside. Close out your summer 2015 with a bang!
Until Next Time,
xoxo
